One constant that has remained through Tina’s life is being an athlete. She grew up playing year-round soccer and continued playing through college. After transplanting to Boston and looking for a change, Tina began to train and competed in powerlifting, where she holds a New England squat record! Yoga never struck Tina as ‘athletic’ until she took her first heated Power Yoga class. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at O2 Yoga in Cambridge, MA under Mimi Loureiro, where she studied an athletic, energetic yoga practice consisting of unique sequencing and hands-on adjustments. Tina’s prenatal yoga teacher training was completed with Barrett Reinhorn, and kids yoga trainings with ChildLight Yoga.
